Engineer, research and design architecture for one or more of the following platforms: Window-based OS?s, mid-range based system, storage area network, desktop technologies, and/or messaging and collaborative computing environment. Define, document and implement processes and procedures for supporting client / server technologies. For each supported platform, provide internal consulting to project architects, define standards, policies and support proof of concept efforts. Bachelor?s degree or equivalent maybe needed and minimum of 7+ years experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
