Business Intelligence Developer

A leading procurement management services firm based in Norwalk CT. We create leading edge software technology for our own internal use and for license to some of the world’s most respected brands.

Due to our rapid growth, we have an immediate opening for a full-time business intelligence developer. You will be a key member of our product development team implementing industry leading BI solutions in an environment that encourages teamwork, shared knowledge and a pioneering spirit.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design and implementation of interactive, ad-hoc and scheduled end-user reports within a business intelligence framework integrated within a Java-based web application
• Develop, debug and run SQL scripts for database import and export
• Provide ad-hoc data analysis to support company and client business intelligence needs

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering FOS required
• 3+ years of experience developing SQL and reports against an enterprise database or data warehouse
• Expert proficiency with common BI frameworks
• Strong SQL proficiency
• ETL processes and data warehouse constructs
• HTML and JavaScript a plus
• MS Access programming
• Knowledge of Oracle 11g and SQL Plus
• Fluent in English; written and verbal
