Web Architect
Expertise in various Web technologies, including J2EE Application Servers, , Web Services, Java, JavaScript, HTML, SSL, C/C++, Perl, CGI, , security (firewalls/encryption products), Web Servers, browsers, and various third party utilities and tools for integrating Web applications with databases and legacy systems.In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server is required. Knowledge of multidimensional or object oriented DBMS is highly desirable. Must have ability to analyze and learn rapidly changing Web-related technologies and apply them as part of integrated solutions to business requirements, as well as work experience in the software development process including requirements gathering and analysis, design, selection of tools and technologies, release and version control, testing methodologies and deployment management. May require a Bachelors degree in a related area and 7+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead or direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to a manager.
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems. Helps to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
